As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence in orthotics and prosthetics, we strongly
encourage our staff to take continuing education courses, contribute to professional journals,
and attend regional and national 0&P informational programs.
We also update colleagues regarding our specialty. We offer seminars on new technology and
techniques as well as current developments within our field to physicians, therapists, and other
allied health care practitioners and students. By pre-arrangement, we also provide tours of our
facility and its modem fabrication laboratory to medical professionals and referral sources.
Further, we are always willing to explain orthotic and prosthetic procedures and the use of
certain rehab components and systems to case workers employed by managed care organizations and
other third party providers. It is our belief that providing appropriate orthotic and prosthetic
care that restores people with disabilities to their highest level of function and independence
is an insurer's guarantee of receiving top value for dollars spent.
