Patients are referred with a physician's prescription and are seen by appointment weekdays from 8am to 5pm in our Peoria office. Patients are also seen in Macomb at McDonough District Hospital's Rehabilitation Department, McDonough District Hospital, 525 E. Grant St., Macomb, Illinois. Appointments are scheduled for Thursday afternoons. Galesburg area patients receive treatment on Thursday mornings at St. Mary Medical Center Rehabilitation Services, 143 E. Ferris St. We also see patients in the LaSalle/Peru/Princeton area on Wednesdays at either Perry Memorial Hospital, Mendota Clinic, St. Margarets Hospital in Spring Valley, or Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru. Plattner Orthopedic is an approved provider by the Veterans Administration, Medicare, Medicaid, the Illinois Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC), the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS), and by multiple third party health care and insurance providers. And, just as our practitioners encourage questions and welcome informed patients and referral sources, our administrative staff is also happy to assist patients by answering insurance questions and helping to complete reimbursement forms.
